Tonight as you wind down and settle in from this long Tuesday I will give you a brief rundown of the news that made headlines throughout the day. Peter Billingsley is producing a brand new musical rendition of “A Christmas Story” and Paris Hilton was rushed off of an airplane due to a knife scare. George Lopez also stated that he plans to run for mayor of Los Angeles. It was quite an interesting day as far as celebrity news goes.

First up we have actor turned director Peter Billingsley. Billingsley who starred in the 1983 classic “A Christmas Story” has big plans for the movie in which he played the 9-year-old Ralphie Parker. It seems as if Peter Billingsley will be doing a musical rendition of A Christmas Story. Aptly titled A Christmas Story: The Musical! Peter Billingsley will be showing previews at Seattle’s 5th Avenue theatre through December 30th. Peter Billingsley was also the executive producer on the recent hit, Couples Retreat.

Next up we have the billionaire Barbie herself, Paris Hilton. Paris Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits were headed to Hawaii when somebody on their plane found a knife in the pocket of a seat. Who knows how the knife even got there to begin with you know with all of the crazy full body scanners nowadays. Regardless, Paris Hilton was rushed off the airplane to safety as the matter was investigated. After a brief delay, Paris Hilton and Cy Waits headed to Hawaii to enjoy some fun in the sun. I know it is only a matter of time before some nice Paris Hilton topless photos surface from this Hawaii vacation.

Last up is comedian George Lopez and his plans to run for mayor. In a recent interview, George Lopez joked about the gig but in the end it seemed like he was quite serious. Could you see George Lopez as mayor of Los Angeles? Hell if Arnold Schwarzenegger can be elected governor, I think George Lopez has a great chance of becoming mayor. We wish George the best of luck with his campaign.

Alright, Tuesday is officially in the books and I am out of here! I hope you all found this quick little recap informative to some extent and I look forward to any news that tomorrow may bring.
