The weekend is officially over and the countdown to Christmas has begun. On this marvelous Monday morning Glee star Heather Morris is making headlines as she discusses Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance on Glee and an upcoming reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Tron Legacy opened in theaters this past weekend and dominated the box office sales. Meanwhile, last night CBS aired its Survivor Nicaragua finale in which they named a winner and gave a little preview at the next season and the Survivor Redemption Island. While you all settle in to work today, sit back and let me give you a quick rundown of what’s going on right now in the celebrity world.

First up on the Monday morning headlines is Glee star Heather Morris. It seems like Heather Morris has found some new friends by the names of Apple and Moses. When Gwyneth Paltrow was on set shooting her guest appearances on Glee, Heather Morris bonded with her two children. Morris also commented on how much she loved working with Gwyneth Paltrow and that she is a really hard worker. On a non-Glee related topic with Heather Morris, she might soon be seen on the big screen in a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” adaptation. Morris states that she is such a fan of Buffy that she doesn’t care what her role is in the film, as long as she is in it. We wish Heather Morris the best of luck with Glee and the new Buffy the Vampire slayer movie.

Next up on the list is Tron Legacy which stars Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde. The official reboot of the original Tron from the 1980’s topped the box office over the weekend but was it a success? Tron Legacy raked in a whopping $43.6 million over the weekend but many are saying that those numbers are pretty low. I guess if you take into account that Walt Disney Pictures spent $170 million to make Tron Legacy, $43.6 just doesn’t seem very substantial at all. Time will tell if Tron Legacy will live up to the hype or if it will falter as an enormous loss for Disney.

Last but not least is last night’s Survivor Nicaragua finale on CBS. Jeff Probst returned as the host as we watched the final castaways battle it out to be crowned winner. After all was said and done, Fabio was named winner of Survivor Nicaragua. Amidst all the celebration, Jeff Probst also gave us a sneak peek at the next season of Survivor. A new twist will be added and its name is Survivor Redemption Island. The Redemption Island is where castaways will be sent after they are voted off of Survivor. Once two castaways are on the Survivor Redemption Island, they will battle it out, one will go home and one may return to the show throughout the season. It should be interesting and like I said before, Fabio is the winner of Survivor Nicaragua.

There you have it folks, that is the morning recap for you all to enjoy. I look forward to seeing what news the day will bring and I hope you all have a great one!
