Last night Nick Lachey returned to host episode 4 of The Sing-Off a cappella competition. The remaining five singing groups were tasked to sing two songs last night.  Groups were to perform a medley of songs from one artist and then a “judges pick” song. Let’s take a quick look at how the teams did and find out which two teams were voted off.

Here is a quick little rundown of the artist the groups chose to do a medley of songs for as well as their The Sing Off judges pick song:

The Backbeats – Why they would choose a Lady Gaga medley is beyond me, I muted the television when they sang so I am not sure how they did on their 1st performance. This group nailed it on Monday with their Sing Off performance of “Love Shack” but would they be able to sing the judges pick of “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac?

Street Corner Symphony – For the 1st Sing Off performance of the night, this all male group took on the legendary songs of The Beatles and did a damn good job. “Down On The Corner” by Creedence Clearwater Revival is what the judges picked for Street Corner Symphony and they nailed it! Their a cappella rendition of the classic was simply amazing, by far the best of the night.

Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town – The elderly soulful group of The Sing Off sang a medley of hits from Otis Redding. Last to take the stage last night this  group of soul singers took on “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals as their judges pick.

On The Rocks – The frat brothers took on the iconic Elton John for their first medley performance. On the Rocks would not perform the judges pick because they were the first to be voted off of The Sing Off last night.

Committed – This religious group decided to sing a medley of Usher songs for their 1st performance on last night’s episode of The Sing Off. The judges chose “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green for the group’s second performance.

With both performances of The Sing-Off out of the way, Nick Lachey took the stage to announce who the second group to be voted off would be. The judges felt that all four of the groups did so well that all of them would be going to the finale. Round 4 of The Sing Off is now over and the only team voted off was On The Rocks. The final four will now battle it out on the season finale Monday.

The Sing-Off Season 2 is now down to the final four groups and will air the live finale Monday night at 8|7c on NBC.
