Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter Divorce!
Stars of the hit show Dexter, Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter have filed for divorce.
Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, who play brother and sister on the hit Showtime drama Dexter, announce they have filed for divorce, just one day after its fifth season finale aired.
Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were married for over two years before separating for some time and now according to their reps, are calling it quits for good. Both stars state the divorce is “amicable.”
What divorce is ever amicable? There is almost always a negative reason when divorcing a spouse; they can’t say it was because of their careers they both work together. How will the two work side-by-side on Dexter? Will there be tension on the set?
Michael C. Hall said to US, that the two will remain ‘professional’ and goes on to say, “We work on the same show but we’re not in every scene together. We don’t see each other on set as often as you’d think.”
This is the second divorce for Michael C. Hall. In 2002 Hall married actress Amy Spanger, but later divorced in 2006. Michael dated Jennifer Carpenter only one year before eloping; maybe he should take it slow next time. I’m sure he’ll have no problem finding a new love interest. He’ll be back in the saddle in no time!
39-year-old Michael C. Hall stars and co-produces Dexter, a series based on the novels by Jeff Lindsay. Hall portrays Dexter Morgan a forensics expert analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department by day and serial killer by night, not only does he help solve murders, he’s his own cleaner. Dexter looks for criminals who slip through the system and kills them without getting caught. Michael C. Hall earned himself a Golden Globe win and several Emmy Award nominations for his role.
In case you missed the Dexter Season 5 finale, Showtime is rebroadcasting it tonight at 10|9c.
