Double Rainbow all the Way! YouTube has released the list for the most popular videos of 2010. While Double Rainbow didn’t come in as Most Viewed, it did break the Top Ten, which is still quite an achievement.  Also featured on the Top Ten Most Viewed list are the Old Spice ads (which came in fifth), the Annoying Orange (c’mon world, really?)  and the talent show performance of uber-cute Greyson Chance, whose rendition of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi plucked millions (34 million, to be exact) of heartstrings.

So what’s the most popular viral video of 2010? Antoine Dodson’s  interview, which the Gregory Brothers took and made into the very lulzy, auto-tuned “Bed Intruder Song.”

YouTube compiled a separate list of popular music videos for 2010. These videos got way more play than the viral videos, with Justin Bieber’s “Baby” topping the list at a surreal 408 MILLION views. Seriously! I’m pretty sure that’s the work of a few crazed teenyboppers. I can see them now, sitting in front of their computer, hypnotized. Kind of disturbing imagery there.

Shakira’s “Waka Waka” has been seen a whopping 256 million times, with Eminem and Rihanna trailing close behind with their epic “Love the Way you Lie” collabo.

So what’s in store for internet celebs like Antoine Dodson who have dominated the year with their memes and hilarity? Who is to say. Dodson has appeared on numerous TV shows and has his own Youtube channel with thousands of followers. He has a web site where he accepts (and requests) donations for his family. Just goes to show if you have what it takes to make a video go viral, you could be the next Internet star!
