Justin Bieber Brings Bad Luck To German TV!
Justin Bieber had to cancel an appearance on a German TV show due to a stunt mishap.
Canadian Teen Idol Justin Bieber was set to appear on this past Saturday Night Live German game show called “Wetten Dass” meaning “Wanna bet”, but the show was unexpectedly canceled due to a car accident that happened on set in front of the live audience.
During the “Wetten Dass” show in Dusseldort, Germany, a contestant named Samuel Koch was pretty badly injured while trying to jump over a moving car driven by his father.
Was this the bet? Did the father bet he would not run over his son or did his son Samuel bet he could jump over a car while in motion, driven by his father? Why would someone take such a ridiculous bet?
16-year-old singer Justin Bieber was set to appear live on “Wetten Dass” right after this crazy stunt, but because of the accident, the show of course was canceled for the night. I’m sure many German teens in the audience and at home went to bed very disappointed they didn’t get to see the teen heart throb.
Justin Bieber, who I’m sure, was shaken up by the accident posted on his twitter account saying,
“Please pray for Samuel Koch and his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety.”
Dr Wolfgang Raab of Dusseldorf Hospital told German news that 23 year old Samuel Koch suffered back injuries and fractures, he was in surgery Saturday night and is still listed under “extremely critical condition”.
I bet the father is feeling pretty crappy at this very moment.
The Wetten Dass has been airing in Germany for over 30 years, viewers’ range to over 10 million. Saturday night was not only going to have Justin Bieber, but Robbie Williams and Phil Collins were scheduled to appear as well.
