Michael Brea Admitted to Killing a Demon Not His Mother
Michael Brea admitted to killing a demon, not his Mother in chilling sword attack.
Ugly Betty star Michael Brea was arrested Tuesday morning for killing his 55-year old mother Yannick Brea.
Brea was admitted to the prison ward at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. There he gave a chilling interview to the ‘Daily News’ on what happened the morning he killed his mother.
Michael Brea, who sliced his mother with a freemason sword, said it wasn’t his mother he killed, but “a demon inside her, It was the work of God.”
While the Ugly Betty star slept in his room, he states that God appeared above his bed and said, “Michael, today is your last day,” He replies if he could “say goodbye to his family.”
Later while Michael was at the Prince Hall Masonic Temple in Harlem, it was there that he says a man tried to curse him by trying to get him to touch what looked like a Freemason pin. It all went down hill from there. Michael stated on the train, heading home is where he started hearing the voices louder and clearer.
Brea said, “They were asking about the difference between mom and mother. It was a sign.”
When the 31-year old returned home, he hugged his mother and spent time with her. He then asked her if she believed in God. After replying No, Brea then begins to slash his mother with the 3-foot ceremonial Freemason sword he stole from the Prince Hall Temple.
In chilling detail Michael Brea finishes his interview with the ‘Daily News’ reporter by saying, “While she screamed, I began slashing her like this. I didn’t want to kill her right away. I wanted to give her time to get right with God.”
“I was slashing my mom and I heard the police knocking on the door yelling, ‘Michael, open up, Michael, open up,’ but I knew they wouldn’t open the door and stop me because the spirits were protecting me. I just kept cutting her. No one could stop me. I was doing the work of God.”
The Step Up 3D and Ugly Betty star is being charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
