Weekly Robot Recap: Beatles on iTunes, Bristol Palin Rigs “DWTS” and Eva Longoria’s Divorce
As the weekend arrives, we take a quick look at some of the news that went down in the entertainment world this past week.
While all of the “real” news outlets are covering Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement, we thought we catch you up on some of the more interesting entertaining news from this week. From Bristol Palin rigging DWTS to Eva Longoria divorcing the cheater Tony Parker, we will give you a quick rundown. Hell I even think The Beatles finally made it on iTunes this week. Anyways, sit back, relax and enjoy this fun-filled robot recap of the week in news.
First things first, Bristol Palin kicked the week off by performing in the semi-finals of Dancing With the Stars. Bristol was terrible as usual but does that mean she was voted off on Tuesday night? NOPE! Porky Bristol Palin made it through in a ridiculously stupid elimination in which Brandy was sent home. It was so ridiculous that someone who hates Bristol Palin shot his TV because of how bad she dances! Back on topic here, so yeah, Bristol will be competing next week in the DWTS Finals and I am pretty sure that she is going to win the damn thing. Go Team Palin!
Now we can get into news on actual celebrities as we move to the Eva Longoria divorce disaster of 2010. TMZ first reported that divorce documents were filed, then they weren’t, then they were. It was really confusing but in the end, Eva Longoria filed for divorce from Tony Parker. It is said that Mr. Parker was having an affair with his teammates (Brent Barry of the San Antonio Spurs) wifey, Erin Barry. Mr. Parker you are a stupid cheating SOB! Why in the hell would you go and do such a thing to Eva!? Anyways after Eva Longoria found a bunch of text messages on Tony Parker’s phone (allegedly to Erin Barry) it was game over. Eva, if you need a new hubby, I am available and more than willing!
Last but not least we have a “monumental” announcement from Apple. After years of negotiating, The Beatles are finally available to purchase on iTunes. Despite their limited edition (30,000) Beatles USB DRIVE, the band’s music has never been available to purchase digitally. That is of course until now, fans can rejoice as The Beatles are now on iTunes! Take a journey back as the band’s (Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, John Lennon) thirteen studio albums are now available to download. Beatles have also made a live concert available to download as a part of a box set that they released on iTunes.
There you have it, my weekly robot recap of a couple entertaining stories that went down this week. I hope you all enjoyed it and have a fantastic weekend!
