“Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows” Part 1: Premiere Night Piracy!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 has been leaked online.
Producers of the first installment of ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’ have confirmed, 36 minutes of the film have been stolen and released illegally online. An investigation on who leaked the film is in process and all leaked footage is being removed from fan sites.
Warner Bros studio released the following statement on the Harry Potter piracy: “This constitutes a serious breach of copyright violation and theft of Warner Bros. property. We are working actively to restrict and/or remove copies that may be available. Also, we are vigorously investigating this matter and will prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law.”
The long awaited first installment of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows makes its debut in theaters, midnight tonight. This film is based on the last of the best-selling, seven fantasy novel series, Harry Potter, written by the British author J. K. Rowling
Due to the size of the book, 759 pages, the film was split into two parts. The second part of the film will be released late next year, bringing the ‘Harry Potter’ saga to a close.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is scheduled to hit theaters on November 19th, 2010.
