Demi Lovato Pregnancy On Radio Radar
Demi Lovato entered rehab last week at the pinnacle of what appeared to be an emotional breakdown for the young Disney star.
Demi Lovato, 18, is currently seeking treatment for emotional problems in a facility that specializes in treating young women with eating and mood disorders. In a report by People, we learned Demi Lovato’s family stopped in for a visit this weekend, and are fully supporting Demi’s road to recovery. In it, PEOPLE quotes a close family source of Demi’s.
“She is determined to get better. She recognizes that she has a difficult road ahead,” says the source. Making it even more difficult for Demi, that road is paved with rumors galore, not the least of which surfaced this morning.
Upon Demi’s decision to leave the Jonas Brothers tour last week, gossip was pressed far and wide that the starlet was abusing drugs, namely cocaine. And earlier today a Salt Lake City radio station proclaimed Demi Lovato is pregnant, insinuating that it was a contributing factor in her emotional fallout.
Demi Lovato’s rep confirmed to TMZ shortly after the story broke that the Lovato pregnancy story was “100% not true,” and reassured the public that Demi Lovato is not in rehab for drugs or alcohol abuse.
Demi’s not pregnant and not doing drugs, but she’s certainly not in great shape at the moment. In a separate report from TMZ, there was speculation that Demi’s hit Disney show Sonny With a Chance has been indefinitely suspended because the network is considering shutting it down. The show hints that it’s willing to close productions if necessary saying Demi’s health comes first, and that “other plans” were not out of the question.
