CMA Awards 2010: Meet The Hosts Of Country’s Biggest Night!
Meet the hosts of tonights CMA Awards 2010.
Tonight the 44th annual CMA Awards 2010 air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and it promises to be an action packed show with some of the biggest names in country music set to take the stage. Hosting the show is Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Both hosts will pull double duty as they also perform on the show.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood hosted the CMA Awards together last year and had such great chemistry and worked so well together they were brought back for another run. These two have performed together on multiple occasions and clearly have an easy report that translates well to the screen.
At this point it is safe to say that Carrie Underwood is without a doubt the most successful American Idol contestant of all time. For a while that honor was probably held by Kelly Clarkson, but Clarkson’s career has recently hit a very slow patch while Underwood seems to be continuing her stay at the top. Her most recent album, “Play On”, debuted at the top of the Billboard country and Billboard 200 album charts and was her third straight number one album. It is also her third straight platinum album.
Brad Paisley is on a good run of his own. His last five albums have all gone to number 1 one the US country charts and his most recent album, “American Saturday Night” made it to number 2 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
Both hosts are active in various charity works and regularly do shows for the USO. Underwood recently married her NHL hockey playing boyfriend Mike Fisher and Paisley has been married to actress Kimberly Williams since 2003.
Tune in tonight at 8pm on ABC to watch them Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley host and perform at the CMA Awards 2010.
