True Blood Season 3 returns on HBO
True Blood season 3 airs this Sunday June 13th with new characters, mainly werewolves, to spice up the already funny, sexy, violent amazing show. The series centers on Sookie Stackhouse, played by Anna Paquin, a telepathic waitress at a bar, who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton, played by Stephen Moyer, who lives off of drinking synthetic blood.
With a Golden Globe win and another 11 wins & 26 nominations, the third season will freely follow the plot of the third novel of “The Southern Vampire Mysteries, Club Dead”, written by Charlaine Harris. Bill Compton is kidnapped on a secret project for the vampire queen of Louisiana. Sookie sets out to investigate, with the help of sexy, beautiful, Shreveport werewolf Alcide Herveaux, played by Joe Manganiello.
Anna Paquin known as Sookie on “True Blood” recently received an Emmy nomination for playing Elaine Goodale Eastman in HBO’s original movie “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee”. She also finished production on Kenneth Lonnergan’s “Margaret” along with Matt Damon, Mark Ruffalo and Matthew Broderick. Paquin plays Lisa, a girl who witnesses a bus accident, and is caught up in the consequences
Stephen Moyer is known for his appearance in “88 MINUTES”, starring Al Pachino. He also starred in the Oscar nominated film “QUILLS” with Kate Winslet and Joaquin Phoenix. Moyer was nominated for multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Awards for the hit series “The Starter Wife” with Debra Messing.
Joe Manganiello played Flash Thompson in “Spiderman” and “Spider-Man 3”. he has made guest appearances on CIS and CIS Miami. Manganiello also took the role as “Owen Morello” on seasons five, six, and seven of The CW’s TV series “One Tree Hill”.
