Audrina Patridge and Rick Fox Are Mediocre During DWTS Week 6
Audrina Patridge and Rick Fox delivered mediocre performances on DWTS last night.
Each week there are some contestants on Dancing With The Stars that tread water. They don’t do badly, but they don’t blow anyone away either. This week we saw a couple of dancers fall into that category.
Audrina Patridge did a paso doble and she looked every bit the part of the sexy Spanish siren. She did a high-energy dance and her partner Tony Dovolani even took her to an MMA training gym to help her get some intensity. To me is seemed to work. I thought she was focused danced well and had a cold, intense look to her in the dance. The judges thought she did the dance well, but she still needed to work on her presentation and intention with the dance. They all feel she has what it takes to go far in the competition if she can just find a way to bring more personality to the dance. She got a 24 as a score, which planted her right in the middle of the pack.
Rick Fox was the other dancer this week that did well, but not great. His tango brought him some trouble and he had to have his partner Cheryl Burke break it down step by step for him. She didn’t want him to get lost in the steps and wanted him to keep the flow, but he seemed to know what he was talking about. He admitted that he really wants to win this competition so he is putting a lot of pressure on himself. His dance was good. He had a few moments where he seemed a little stiff, but overall it was a good dance and the judges seemed to think he did well. As always they had some pointers, but they felt he held his own. He too got a score of 24.
Both Audrina and Rick also landed in the middle of the pack in the marathon dance. Rick got an extra 6 points and Audrina got an extra 8 points. Audrina is getting so fit that even the judges commented on how hot her body is looking. She came into Dancing With The Stars fit and looking good, but now she is getting a six pack and seems even more trim and tight than before. Dancing clearly agrees with her.
Both of these dancers held their own this week and should be safe from elimination. Of course you never know what will happen, but I don’t think these two have much to worry about during tonight’s live results show.
Be sure to catch the live results show of DWTS week 6 when it airs at 9|8c on ABC.
