Snooki and John McCain Tweet About Obama Tanning Tax
Senator John McCain and Jersey Shore star Snooki tweet about tanning tax.
In a strange but interesting tweet off, Snooki of the MTV hit series “Jersey Shore” and Senator John McCain tweet back and forth about President Barack Obama’s new tax he implemented on tanning beds.
Snooki’s tweet, which read: “I don’t go tanning anymore because Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning. And I feel like he did that intentionally for us,” received a quick tweet back by Senator John McCain.
McCain went on to tweet: “You are right, I would never tax your tanning bed! Pres Obama’s tax/spend policy is quite The Situation. But I do recommend wearing sunscreen!”
How clever of the 73-year-old skin cancer survivor to throw in a quick little blurb about wearing sunscreen. He also referred to the new tanning tax Barack Obama set forth as quite “The Situation”, which is the name of one of Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s co-stars on the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore.”
Snooki, I highly doubt that President Obama put a 10% tax on tanning just because of you so-called celebrites of “Jersey Shore.” In response to your tweet about having to return to spray tanner, I have a solution for you. You can go out in the sun, wear a little tanning spray while you are at the beach and get a tan the old fashioned way.
As John McCain said wear some sort of sun screen, but at least tanning the real way will not make you look like a ridiculous fake bronze statue.
