John StamosJohn Stamos is scheduled to make appearances on the hit comedy musical “Glee”. The details on how many episodes he will be in have not yet been established, but rumor states Stamos will most likely take the role of Emma’s dentist. Stamos said he couldn’t be happier to be joining the show’s cast in 2011, and his former “Full House” co-star Candace Cameron Bure tweeted him that she wouldn’t mind stopping by to visit.

In a previous episode of Glee called “Acafella”, Emma played by Jayma Suzette Mays, is heard saying,  “They say it takes certainty more than talent to make a star. I mean, look at John Stamos.” This line is said to have given the producers the idea to invite John Stamos to guest star on Glee. Other popular actors that have made guest appearances on Glee have been Olivia Newton-John and Neil Patrick Harris. Newton-John appeared singing a duet of “physical” and Harris guest starred as a former Glee club rival.

Brennan envisioned the idea for Glee based on his own experience as a member of the Prospect High School Choir. The series won the 2010 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series—Musical or Comedy. The show also won a People’s Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy in 2010. Its first season also earned a Peabody Award.

Stamos first professional role, which lasted 2 years, was as Blackie Parrish on the popular ABC soap, “General Hospital”. John Stamos is best known for 8 years as Uncle Jesse on “Full House”, after the series finale, John went on to star on Broadway’s hit called Bye Bye Birdie and won the 2009-2010 Golden Icon Award for best actor. He was formally married to Rebecca Romijn, first marriage for both. They divorced in March of 2005.
