Dancing With The Stars: Week 5 Preview And Predictions
Dancing With The Stars Week 5 preview and predictions.
We are now heading into Week 5 of Dancing With the Stars Season 11 and things are really getting good. For the most part things have gone as they typically do. The weakest of the dancers and those who most expect to get voted off first are cast off the show in the first few weeks. Then we move up a tier to the next worst of the group. That is when things start getting exciting because it gets harder and harder to guess who will be the next DWTS contestant to go.
So far Season 11 of Dancing With The Stars has pretty much followed this formula. We saw David Hasselhoff get voted out first followed by Michael Bolton. Week 3 saw Margaret Cho go home then last week it was The Situation a.k.a. Mike Sorrentino‘s time go. Of the remaining dancers there are some strong competitors who most likely will not be any real trouble for at least another handful of episodes. There are also those who are in the middle of the pack and now that all the obvious choices are gone anyone in that middle group is in danger of going home on any given week.
This middle group is made up of Bristol Palin, Kurt Warner and Florence Henderson. These three consistently score in the upper teens and none of them have really taken that bold step forward to claim a spot among the front runners. Florence Henderson has been consistent. Each week she dances well and clearly the judges and crowd really like her. She is an icon and has plenty of experience and it shows. However, her age seems to be showing. She is not physically capable of doing some of the things that the other dancers can. I would love to see her move on, but I think her performances will be limited in scope and ultimately that will catch up with her. Both Kurt Warner and Bristol Palin seem to take a step forward then take a step back. They impress the judges one week, then the next week they are not as good. It is becoming clear now that the Dancing With the Stars judges are looking for people who consistently improve week in and week out and so far these two have yet to do that.
This week on DWTS is a crucial week. If any of the dancers who are in the lower end of the pack are going to make a move this is the time to do it. This is the time to pull out all the stops and show the judges and audience that you can really deliver. I would look for at least one of these three to try to make that move and my guess is that it will be Kurt Warner. He is very competitive and seems like he is driven to do well.
My prediction for the next three weeks is that Bristol Palin will be voted out this week. She just doesn’t seem all that interested in getting better. Next week will be Florence Henderson. She is fun to watch, but I think the competition will just get too intense and not allow for her to keep up with it. From there if Kurt has improved he will now be among the top dancers and it is anyone’s game. If he hasn’t improved his NFL fan base will not be enough to carry him and he will be gone.
Of course anything could happen that could change this. If there is one thing that holds true about Dancing With the Stars it is that it is often unpredictable. Someone could do horribly, fall or really crash and burn, but unless one of those things happen I think Bristol’s time on the show is up.
