Dancing With The Stars: Recap on Worst Dancers

Posted by on October 5, 2010 at 11:28 AM EST

dwtsDancing With The Stars had some bad dancers last night, here is a recap on worst dancers; The Situation, Margaret Cho and Florence Henderson

Now that we are in Week 3 of Dancing With the Stars Season 11 we have already gotten rid of two dancers (David Hasselhoff and Michael Bolton) and a third will go tonight. The dancers of DWTS are starting to separate themselves and we can see who are the real contenders and who are not. These three had some issues and are likely the dancers that are in the most danger of going home this week.

The Situation has worked hard. He seems like he really wants to do well and comes off like he is taking it seriously. Mike Sorrentino or ‘The Sit’, admitted this week that the show has been a lot harder than he thought it would be, but that hasn’t deterred him from trying hard. That said, all the try in the world hasn’t helped him. I have a feeling his main problem is he can’t relax and just let himself have fun in it. He wants to impress and it isn’t coming easy and he isn’t sure how to fix that.

Margaret Cho started out the season a bad note when she added some comic relief to her dance and the judges were not impressed. Margaret Cho has redeemed herself to some degree it the last two weeks of Dancing With The Stars Season 11, but it is clear that she simply is not on the same level as the best dancers on the show. The DWTS judges are warming to her, but it just isn’t going to be enough to keep her around much longer.

Florence Henderson has done well, but well isn’t going to win you Dancing With The Stars Season 11. Each week her dances are elegant and smooth. She is having fun with this and really living in the moment. As the judges told her this week, she looks good, but her dances are a little too simple. She scored a 20 this week, which was her highest score yet, but realistically I don’t think Florence Henderon has the physical ability at her age to compete with the younger more fit contestants. I think the voters love her – she is America’s Mom after all – but I think eventually that will only take her so far in this 2010 DWTS competition.

My prediction is that this week it will be either Margaret Cho or The Situation that goes home. Florence Henderson will survive a few more weeks, but not much longer.

Dancing With The Stars returns tonight with its live results show at 9|8c on ABC.
