Bindi Irwin holds the Dancing with the Stars Glitterball Trophy!
Hours after hoofing champ Bindi Irwin was proclaimed queen of Dancing with the Stars, the teen was rocking up at Good Morning America’s New York studios to talk about her stunning win.
And the 17-year-old, whose Dad was the late wildlife expert Steve Irwin, was seen grinning from ear to ear and still clutching her mirrorball trophy as she showed up for her early morning TV appearance.
The show reached the end of its season this week in Hollywood so Bindi had to spend the night travelling across the country to make it on time, which she did with minutes to spare.
And she must have been on an adrenaline high, for there were few signs of tiredness – though she had swapped dancing shoes and glamorous dress for a hoodie, trainers and skinny jeans. (Teamed, we have to say, with perfect make-up and her hair as she wore it for the show.)
She was joined for the telly spot by professional dance partner Derek Hough.
What a great end to the season that was! But how will we fill our lives with the gap it leaves?
