Snoop Dogg to be focus of new reality series
Rapper Snoop Dogg is set to join a line-up including Jermaine Dupri and Birdman on a new reality show looking at the business side of hip-hop.
The unscripted show will go out on the BET network, expected to air toward the end of next year, also featuring the former manager of Jay-Z, Damon Dash.
Filming is due to kick off in LA soon.
And a statement on the BET website promises: “From family to business to love lives, the show is set to be drama packed, and have plenty of laughs..”
Long Beach rapper Snoop’s previous adventures in reality TV took place from 2007-09, when family-based show Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood was held on E! Also, five-part documentary series Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream followed his son Cordell Broadus as he tried to break into the NFL went out on ESPN earlier this year.
Snoop Dogg hosted the BET Music Awards in Georgia this year and released Bush, his thirteenth studio album, back in May.
