Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In
Reality TV may be slated all the time for its contrived feel, but that’s not an accusation that can be leveled at Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In.
If anything, this was all too real as we caught up with Teresa Giudice and her family as the TV starlet remains in jail on a fraud charge. (She is due for release early in 2016, having been admitted early this year.)
No cameras are allowed inside Danbury Correctional, and so this show focused on her husband Joe, and their four daughters. Instead, Teresa made her present felt through the very frequent phone calls made to her family.
So what did we learn? Basically, that she gets 10 minutes roughly a day of phone time, or 300 minutes a month. When that runs out, it’s tough on everyone.
Her husband has had his license suspended so can’t drive. Also, it’s not easy bringing up the four children alone.
But Teresa is still able to plan family parties from behind bars thanks to email.
Meanwhile her attorney revealed that Teresa, a true reality fan at heart, is keeping up with the Real Housewives shows while at Danbury.
