Kelly Osbourne: New job on Project Runway Junior
Kelly Osbourne, the 30-year-old daughter of Sharon and Ozzy, has just landed herself a new job as a judge on the first season of Project Runway Junior, according to reports.
She joins Christian Siriano, Project Runway’s Season 4 winner, and Aya Kanai, executive editor of Seventeen and Cosmopolitan, on the judging panel. Co-hosting the show are Tim Gunn and supermodel Hannah Davis.
The show, on Lifetime, is all about showcasing the talents of young designers aged between 14 and 17.
When Kelly made the announcement on social media, she wasn’t giving anything away at first! Instead she made her Instagram and Twitter followers, who total six million, work for the news.
She gave away three clues before posting: “Excited to join the Project Runway Junior family. We just had the best first day ever!”
For Kelly, it’s the first big gig since she left Fashion Police in February. She has previously been a guest judge on a 2011 one-off special, Project Accessory and also hosted the show’s UK equivalent, Project Catwalk, in 2007 and 2008.
The junior edition is slated to be on Lifetime in the fall, while next month the senior version of the show returns to our screens as well. In other news, Project Runway All Stars is expected to air a fifth season next year.
