Yolanda Foster: Forced to Leave Real Housewives of Beverley Hills Reunion Early
A struggle with Lyme’s Disease forced Yolanda Foster to take an early departure from this week’s reunion show of The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills.
The ex-model began the first of three reunion shows appearing tired, and, on occasion, fighting off tears.
When host Andy Cohen asked the 51-year-old if she was OK, she admitted she needed to retire to bed.
In fact, just the mention of her illness was enough to bring tears to her eyes, and when she was asked about it, she said: “You really want to talk about that?”
Cohen, host of the Bravo chat show, had already mentioned Yolanda’s blog, in which she revealed she had pretty much lost the ability to read, write or even to watch TV – because of problems processing information.
Cohen also mentioned an article on the Daily Beast website suggesting Yolanda may have been misdiagnosed, and that she may be getting the wrong treatment.
For her part, she did say: “Some in my family deny my disease. That hurts.”
There were happier moments, though, such as when Yolanda discussed her daughters, Bella and Gigi Hadid, and their success in modeling.
Yolanda was joined for the show by Brandi Glanville, Eileen Davidson and Kim Richards – all of whom wish her well as she gets better and fights her condition.
