New year new husband for American Idol finalist Kimberly Caldwell!
Former American Idol finalist Kimberly Caldwell married her soccer star fiancé Jordan Harvey on New Year’s Eve, in a romantic, Gatsby-inspired ceremony held outside at the Bougainvillea Estates in Palm Springs, according to reports from E!
And, the next day, the singer, who’s 32, posted an Instagram wedding picture showing the smiling couple with their heads bent together, as Caldwell gently clutched at her new husband’s arm.
What’s more, she touchingly captioned the image “Best day of my life.”
The bride wore a mermaid-style strapless Walter Mendez dress, as well as a small veil and an elaborately beaded bodice. For his part, the groom sported a burgundy suit with white rose lapel and black bow tie, with a white shirt.
Guests were apparently asked to wear sharp tuxes and sequined dresses to fit in with the theme.
Caldwell came seventh on the second season of Idol back in 2003. She went on to host the first season of Best Ink in 2012, on Oxygen.
