Bret Michaels and Kelly Rowland are gearing up to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month with performances at NFL’s Monday Night Football on ESPN. The match up will pit Chad Henne and the Miami Dolphins against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

My home team, the Miami Dolphins announced today that they plan to have a concert blowout on this weeks upcoming Monday Night Football on ESPN. The first performance will come from the rock and roll machine, Bret Michaels. Michaels, who we recently reported would have heart surgery in January, will take stage for a pre-game performance. Bret Michaels will headline the Land Shark Tailgate Stage on the AT&T Grand Plaza Monday night, October 4th, at Sun Life Stadium.

Bret Michaels released a statement saying: “Performing in front of such a passionate group of rivals fans will be an extra special experience for me. After being such a long-time Pittsburgh Steelers fan, football has always been in my blood. I look forward to being part of South Florida’s biggest party!”

I look forward to seeing Bret Michaels perform for the NFL Monday Night Football pre-game entertainment in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this upcoming Monday night.

Of course, the entertainment will not stop there; the NFL has a special performance set up for when the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots reach halftime. Kelly Rowland, most famously known for her group, Destiny’s Child, will take the stage to perform some of her award-winning singles. While Kelly Rowland is on stage performing in Miami, she will recognize breast cancer survivors from the Susan G Komen For The Cure foundation by bringing them out onto the Sun Life Stadium field.

Both Bret Michaels and Kelly Rowland’s performances in Miami on Monday night are apart of the NFL’s Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend.

I look forward to seeing Bret Michaels perform live as well as Kelly Rowland on Monday night. Being that my hometown is 30 minutes away from the Miami Dolphins stadium, I will most likely have video of the performances on Tuesday.

Today, October 1st kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month so see what you can do to donate to a worthy cause.

Tune in Monday Night, October 4th, when the Miami Dolphins take on the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. (EST) on ESPN.
