Gwen Stefani to Join Judging Panel of The Voice
It’s been reported that rocker girl and No Doubt front woman Gwen Stefani has signed a contract to replace Christina Aguilera on NBC’s hit crooning show The Voice. Looks like one beautiful blonde diva has been replaced with another!
The ultra-talented Stefani will have a judge’s hot seat as Season 7 of the reality show kicks off, while Christina takes some time out to have her baby with fiancé Matt Rutler. Aguilera will be heavily pregnant by the time the season airs in June, but is reportedly aiming to return to her seat come Season 8, so she’s just lending it to Gwen for a while.
This follows news that Pharrell is sitting in for CeeLo, so it’s a case of musical chairs!
What’s more, there’s a chance that Adam Levine may also be relinquishing coaching duties for a season, according to reports. Although Usher has acted as Adam’s stand-in previously, there’s no guarantee he’ll be substituting this time.
We’ll keep you posted!
