Jasmine Mason and Jade Zuberi Out of So You Think You Can Dance
Last night’s live episode of season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance? was an eventful one as two more competitors waltzed their way out of the Fox show and the top 16 finalists were announced.
Jazz dancer Jasmine Mason, who’s just 19, was given the boot by judges Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe, alongside guest judges Erin Andrews and Paula Abdul. Mason had found herself in the bottom six hoofers of the week after viewers at home voted after seeing the last 18 dancers in action.
At the same time, Jade Zuberi, 21, an animation dancer, had no choice but to leave the competition following a leg injury which needs surgery and a recovery period of a good couple months. (In any event he had also landed in the bottom half dozen for the second consecutive time.)
The fourth performance show of season 10 of SYTYCD, which will also feature another round of elimination results, airs on Tuesday, July 16 at 8PM ET/PT and the 16 dancers who remain will perform once more for viewer votes.
