Housemate David Girton Eliminated in Big Brother Vote
Big Brother contestant David Girton was eliminated from the house in Season 15’s first live eviction show.
The 25-year-old lifeguard from San Diego, California, was thrown out thanks to a 7-5-0 vote. His head was placed on the block by the week’s “Big Brother MVP” Elissa Slater, 27 – whose sister Rachel Reilly is a former winner of the hit reality show. Elissa apparently took advice from the season’s first Head of Household McCrae Olson, 23, from Zimmerman, MN.
Asked why he was so evicted so early, Girton, who had a “showmance” going on with student Aaryn Gries, 22, told host Julie Chen: “feel like no one really disliked me. That’s how my personality works. I attract people right away.”
After the eviction, the housemates who were left, but not McCrae, who, as the outgoing Head of House was not eligible to take part, competed in the season’s second contest for H of H duties.
The winner was due to be announced during the next BB broadcast on Sunday night.
