Channel Hop for Big Brother: After Dark This Summer
This summer, Big Brother: After Dark is switching sides, from CBS’ Showtime to TVGN.
TVGN is a basic cable network, and the new home for this reality show, which has aired for its first seven seasons on the Showtime pay channel. Previously known as TV Guide Network, CBS acquired the station earlier on this year.
Big Brother: After Dark will still feature a curated lived feed from inside the Big Brother house every day for a couple of hours for 13 weeks, kicking off on Wednesday June 26.
The 12-2am showing marks a changed from previous seasons, when it aired until an hour later.
The channel’s president Brad Schwartz said: “We’re excited to be bringing Big Brother: After Dark to TVGN where fans can enjoy it all summer.
“As the sun goes down and the cameras roll, some of the best reality TV moments come to life. We expect this season to bring more jaw-dropping action, available exclusively on TVGN.”
The forthcoming 15th season will be an extended edition and debut on Wednesday June 26, from 9-10pm ET/PT. It is to air over three nights a week, with hour-long shows: Tuesdays at 9pm from July 2, the live eviction show with host Julie Chen each Wednesday at 9pm from July 3, and Sundays at 8pm from June 30.
On July 17, the Wednesday evening live eviction episode will be shown at 8pm ET/PT.
And we’re pleased that the general format of the show isn’t changing!
