Survivor: Winner Takes All for John Cochran
Well, it was the finale we’d all been waiting for, and the climax of Survivor: Caramoan didn’t disappoint!
It was front runner John Cochran’s moment in the spotlight, as he scooped the million dollar prize.
Now Eddie Fox, who wound up being placed fourth, insists he loved the challenge of taking part in the show, and wants another shot at the big prize in the future.
He told journalists: “I love the game and would go back if I was asked.”
But it was John who shone most brightly, after 39 days on the lush Philippine island of Caramoan. He had to beat finalists Dawn Meehan and Sherri Biethman as well as Eddie Fox to claim the title Sole Survivor.
The 26-year-old grad from Harvard Law School, who originally participated on Survivor: South Pacific last year, won the jury’s ultimate vote unanimously in the season 26 finale at the weekend.
During the season, Cochran didn’t have a single vote cast against him during Tribal council. Only one other Survivor winner can say the same – J.T. from Survivor: Tocantins.
Now all John has to worry about is how to spend his $1m prize.
Not bad for a geeky looking guy in waistcoat and glasses …
