Celebrity Apprentice: Bret Michaels is First to be Fired
The first participant has been booted off the all-star version of NBC’s reality show The Celebrity Apprentice in New York – and it came as something of a surprise to see popular rocker Bret Michaels fired as the season’s premiere was screened on Sunday night.
Those still in the running include La Toya Jackson, Omarosa Manigault, Claudia Jordan, and Stephen Baldwin. But of the 14-strong cast, all of whom had been on the show before, Bret Michaels was the only one who had previously been a winner on the series in which business mogul Donald Trump is executive producer, host and judge.
Bret, the season 3 champion, and season 1 runner-up Trace Adkins chose the teams, with Adkins becoming Team Plan B’s project manager. Michaels allowed Brande Roderick from season 2 be project manager for Team Power, something we think he later regretted.
In the task, competitors had to set up meatball stores and use them to make the most money.
And we were sad to see Trump being so scathing to Bret Michaels at the end, laying in to him, for returning to Celebrity Apprentice’s only winner – and then doing so badly! Never mind, Bret!
