Tori Spelling “Embarrassed” for Dancing with the Stars Actors
She may have allowed the TV cameras in her house for the last five years for her own show, but don’t expect reality regular Tori Spelling to start hoofing it for the public anytime soon.
The 39-year-old actress and author says she is “embarrassed” for actors who go on Dancing with the Stars without the right experience. And it doesn’t look as though the ex-Beverley Hills 90210 star will be following in the footsteps of those who appeared in the series alongside her, from Ian Ziering, and Jennie Garth to Shannen Doherty.
Spelling said in a recent interview that she no longer says “maybe”, as she used to.
She added: “I think it would be embarrassing right now just to have actors with no dancing experience. I’m a good dancer, but I don’t know I’m of that caliber. I think I’d be a little nervous to compete.
“They have Olympians who excel at gymnastics, and the All Stars winner Melissa Rycroft was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, so obviously she’s going to be a great dancer.
“It’s gotten crazy-competitive and amazing!”
