Nail Files is Back!

TV Guide Network’s top-rated structured reality series Nail Files returns this month for fresh helpings of staff/client drama, business expansion and oodles of glamor.

Expect any number of overblown crises. For a start, salon owner Katie Cazorla, 34, must go to the ASCAP awards with her fiance Walter Afanasieff, a music producer, but is without anything to wear. Imagine!

But that’s not all. Cazorla, who has a new army of nail techs, has to tell off one staff member for, improbably feeding a client foot scrub! Double crisis!

But the likeable, driven Cazorla, who started out as a Hollywood extra on Suddenly Susan, makes for undeniably compulsive viewing. How else to explain over a million viewers, mostly women, who tuned in to see this show’s debut  last year?

Sure, Cazorla’s salon attracts its share of C and D-listers like Candace Cameron (who featured last season) and Marissa Jaret Winokur (who will feature this time around) but it’s Cazorla’s magnetism that keeps you tuned in and turned on,

Nail Files  is back on  our screens for its second outing in Sunday, Aug. 19, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the TV Guide Network. Nail-biting stuff!
