7Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon, who played feisty Miranda in the hit TV show, has shaved off her trademark tresses, which were as fiery as her character, to play a cancer patient, who is a poetry professor, in the Manhattan Theater Club’s production of Wit, which opens this week at the Samuel J. Friedman Theater.
The 45-year-old actress surprised viewers by showing her stark new look on Live with Kelly. Kelly Ripa kicked off the interview by quipping: ‘So what’s new?’
