james mcavoyIt seems as if Fox has already started casting for the X-Men prequel ‘X-Men: First Class’,  casting James McAvoy as professor Charles Xavier.

In an attempt to suck more money out of the X-Men franchise, we will start off where it all began. Professor X as he is dubbed throughout the X-Men comics was the man who initially gathered up the mutants we have come to associate with the X-Men.

Being that “X-Men: First Class” is a prequel, Fox has replaced Patrick Stewart from the role of Professor X with a much younger McAvoy. In case you have no idea who James McAvoy is, he was the main character alongside Angelina Jolie in the action packed assassin thriller “Wanted”.

Director Matthew Vaughn is set to start shooting “X-Men: First Class” this summer. Stay tuned as the cast to the X-Men prequel “X-Men: First Class” unfolds.
