Rock Star Bret Michaels Prepares For Heart Surgery In January
Rock legend Bret Michaels is scheduled for heart surgery in January.

The Rock Of Love star and Poison front man, Bret Michaels announced that he will be having surgery on his heart in January to fix a hole they found after his stroke earlier this year. Doctors at the time of Bret’s hospitalization said that the hole in his heart had been there since birth. The hole in his heart was the last thing Bret found out, as prior to that, he had to have an emergency appendectomy and suffered a brain hemorrhage.
Despite his three dances with death, Bret Michaels the Rock-N-Roll Machine found time to win Celebrity Apprentice and appear on last years American Idol Season finale. Since then Bret Michaels has gone on tour and continues to rock out.
In a recent interview with RadarOnline, a rep for Bret Michaels stated: “Is he 100 percent? No, but he’s in good spirits, he’s having fun on the road, he loves his fans and has always said music heals him. He said that there are times when, of course, he worries but he has great people around him and he’s very cautious.”
The man is a true musician as his heart, hole or not, lies with his music and fans. It just goes to show you the dedication rock-star Bret Michaels possesses. The man is truly a rock-n-roll machine who has looked death right in the face and kicked its ass.
We wish Bret Michaels the best of luck when he goes in for heart surgery in January of 2011.
