Too Big To Fail: Economic Crisis Movie Madness

On May 23, 2011, Too Big To Fail will make its debut on HBO and offers an in-depth look at the financial downfall of 2008. The film centers on Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson (William Hurt) and is based on actual events. With the tag line of the film being “Main Street Took the Fall. Wall Street Got The Check” it will be an interesting behind the scenes look at how the lucrative relationship between Wall Street and Washington dealt with this economic disaster.

Too Big To Fail will premiere on Monday May 23, 2011 at 9|8c on HBO. The HBO Films presentation is based on Andrew Ross Sorkin’s book with the same title. The cast of the film is nothing short of spectacular, including William Hurt, Topher Grace, James Woods and many more amazing names in Hollywood.

More realistically, especially for those who actually did some research into the causes of the collapse beyond what the drive-by populist media reported is that the Federal Gov’t through legislation and policy and regulators helped create the environment for these poor banking practices to develop http://bit.ly/lIl6Vc
