American Idol Results – Haley Reinhart Elimination Predictions
I think it is fair to say that of the final three constants left an American Idol, Haley Reinhart had had the toughest road to travel. Six weeks ago it looked like she was all but out of the competition. With repeated trips to the bottom three it looked like it was only a matter of time before she finally got sent home. Honestly, I thought once Stefano Langone was voted out Haley would likely be next. She has proven me and I’m sure many other people wrong as she keeps plugging away and now finds herself one step away from the finals.
Perhaps Haley Reinhart‘s rise to the American Idol final three has been unlikely because she has been hard to categorize this season. Of the remaining three Scotty is clearly the country singer, Lauren is a country/pop style singer, but Haley seems to be able to do a few different genres equally well. That lack of a genre specific style seems to have at least Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez perplexed. Steven Tyler loves her, but Randy and JLo seem to really be critical of her no matter what she does. Randy Jackson especially seems passive aggressive towards her. This week for the judge’s choice songs the other two judges gave Scotty and Lauren songs that are in their wheelhouse and they should knock out of the park. Randy gave Haley the nearly impossible to succeed at “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morisette. I don’t know if he and JLo don’t want her to win because they think the show will have a hard time marketing her afterward or if they have some kind of issue with her off camera that we don’t know about. Whatever it is, she has overcome it and now has just one night and three songs standing between her and the finals.
If I were a betting man I would not put money on Haley Reinhart to win American Idol. I have a feeling her amazing run will come to an end this week, but so far Haley has thrived on proving everyone wrong. I do know this much. She has a powerful voice and I expect her to put it on full display tonight. Haley won’t hold back. She has fought to get this far. If she goes down this week it will be swinging.
Tune in tonight at 8PM to see Haley Reinhart, Lauren and Scotty McCreery all perform on American Idol
