Dancing With The Stars Week 9 Spoilers

Posted by on May 16, 2011 at 9:39 AM EST

dwts week 9Its semifinals time as the final four DWTS contestants battle it out on the dance floor tonight.

Who will win Dancing With The Stars 2011? Tonight (May 16, 2011) the final four celebrities will take to the ballroom floor as they attempt to wow the judges and American audience with their dances. The mirror ball trophy is well within reach for Hines Ward and Chelsea Kane but will Ralph Macchio or Kirstie Alley deliver a surprising upset? Let’s take a look at the dance routine spoilers for tonight’s live semifinals round.

We all know NFL players can dance and Hines Ward is DWTS season 12’s testament to that. Following last season’s Disney star Kyle Massey, who amazed everyone with his dance moves, I think we are seeing a new trend evolve. Disney stars can dance! This season Chelsea Kane has dominated the dance floor and I look for both her and Hines to be in the final two.

The two celebrities that I’m still on the fence about are Ralph Macchio and Kirstie Alley. Ralph’s old age has slowed him down a bit as he started the Dancing With The Stars season off with a bang; can he pull off a comeback tonight? As for Kirstie, she’s just a ball of emotions and disaster. I predict her journey on DWTS will end this week.

Going into tonight’s week 9 semifinals, the remaining four contestants will perform two dances and then a group Cha Cha Cha in which they all dance at once, last team standing wins. Here is a look at their dance routine spoilers:

Hines Ward & Kym Johnson – Argentine Tango, Salsa

Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas – Argentine Tango, Rumba

Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff – Argentine Tango, Salsa

Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Viennese Waltz, Paso Doble

Tune in tonight to watch Dancing With The Stars Week 9 (semifinals) live on ABC at 8|7c. Who do you all want to win? Comment below!

  1. Ralph Macchio deserves to win he is a great role model, very authentic, humble, confident, very professional and reminded me of the way Fred Astair and Gene Kelly danced in a few of his dances.
