Ready for American Idol live tonight? The final four contestants will take to the stage and perform songs by Leiber & Stoller and Lady Gaga stops by to mentor the Idol hopefuls. The finale is just a couple of weeks away and the competition is getting down to the wire. Who will crack under the pressure? Who will prove that they should be the next American Idol?

Join us tonight during our American Idol live coverage as I will break down all of the performances. On top of letting you all know what songs Haley Reinhart, James Durbin, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina sing, I will give them my own personal performance rating. (1-10, 10 being the highest) I am on board the Team Haley growlwagon but I will deliver completely unbiased reviews of each performance. Who is your favorite American Idol 2011 contestants left in the top 4? Which one will walk away as the winner?

American Idol Top 4 Live Performance Ratings: (Round 1 – Inspirational Song, Round 2 – Leiber & Stoller Song)

James Durbin –

“Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey – Not a bad way to start off the show. James keeps proving that he belongs in this competition. The judges loved his first performance of the night and so did I. 7/10

“Love Potion No. 9” – James Durbin delivered a lot of screaming with this performance and what was with the whole pop up stage and fireworks at the end? Can we say favoritism? Nothing against Jame but I don’t agree with what the Idol producers did there. 8/10

Haley Reinhart –

“The Earth Song” by Michael Jackson – Yikes! I love Haley but that was just not a good performance. She got into it a little bit at the end but I was far from impressed and neither were the judges. Vote for Haley to keep her from getting eliminated. Hopefully she can recover with her 2nd performance. 6/10

“I (Who Have Nothing)” by Ben E. King – Go Haley Go!! Amazing. Simply amazing. Haley redeemed her first debacle with this performance and got a standing ovation from the judges. Vote Team Haley! 10/10

Scotty McCreery –

“Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning” by Alan Jackson – Scotty definitely reached out to the hearts of the American people with this song choice. Despite not being his best performance, it was definitely in his comfort zone. I’m giving him an 8/10 for the emotion he put into the song.

“Young Blood” by The Coaster – Scotty is a natural born entertainer ladies and gentlemen. Great performance and he worked the stage and crowd like he was putting on his own concert. Awesome performance. Steven Tyler said “You Made GaGa’s YaYa go LaLa.” The man is hilarious. Good job Scotty! 8/10

Lauren Alaina –

“Anyway” by Martina McBride – Lauren looked absolutely stunning on the stage and she killed it. Best performance of the night so far, hands down. The judges had nothing but good things to say about the performance. 9/10

“Trouble” by Elvis Presley – It really looked like Lauren was having fun with this one. She’s definitely “in it to win it” as Randy Jackson says. Great performance to come after Scotty. The judges liked it a lot as well. 8/10
