Britney Spears is Broken, World Ends (May 21 2011)
Not to be outdone by Britney Spears’ apparent brokenness the world has decided to end again on May 21, 2011 according to Family Radio. Harold Camping, the same guy who predicted the end of the world in 1994 has managed to dupe another group of followers, including highly educated people into believing Jesus is coming back for real this time, chocolate teddy bears and all.
Some have even quit their jobs to go spread the word of god (Harold Camping) from trailer homes of holiness. Now while you think this might be a few isolated doom and gloomers realize that Family radio has a net worth of 120 million dollars which means more than a few people have been listening to a guy who already screwed up the end of the world prediction once. This is like the local shock jock saying he isn’t getting the contract renewed but instead of the show going off the air Jesus comes back and everyone dies.
But don’t worrybecause you actually have until Oct. 21st before the all loving god completely destroys every living thing on this planet. Now while Harold Camping says he used some kind of bible math to verify the end of the world this time it’s probably best not to quit your job and go around the country in a trailer telling everyone the world is going to end. There is another word besides “Unemployed” for people who are tricked into beveling crap like this.
As for the Britney Spears is broken debacle. Moby has come forth with some rather interesting views on the pop princess. Amidst all this crazy world is ending mumbo jumbo, Moby stated: “…Britney’s actually kind of like a broken-down shell of a human being, that’s what makes her so endearing and compelling. She was lovely, but really broken. Like, Blanche Dubois-style broken.” Ouch! I’m not sure if he was trying to compliment Spears but he definitely did not succeed. It’s okay Britney, broken or not we still love you! Now go build a fallout shelter in your backyard as the world is ending soon!
