chelsea kane dwts 2011Chelsea Kane will surely move on to the DWTS finals while Romeo may be eliminated tomorrow night.

This season of Dancing with the Stars has had more ups and downs for Romeo than a daytime soap opera while Chelsea Kane has been the model of consistency as she strives to win the show. Two weeks ago it looked like these two might be battling it out in the finals, but going into this week Romeo might be fighting for his life.

Chelsea Kane has really turned it on in the last few weeks of DWTS. Her dancing has been spot on and she has turned out to be perfect blend of cute, charming and sexy. While she is clearly this season’s hottie she has managed to turn that more into being the girl next door who is hot, but everyone still likes. Add in that she has been dancing like a whirling dervish and it makes for a package that is very hard to beat. If there is one weakness to her game it is that sometimes she and partner Mark Ballas get a little too creative with the choreography for the judges’ taste. Personally, I love it. I think it brings flair and an entertainment value to the dancing that the other stars don’t have, but sometimes it can hurt her scores. This week Chelsea Kane is dancing both the waltz and salsa. It is a great chance for her to show off different sides of her personality and be sexy and sophisticated. I look for her to excel and solidify her spot at or near the top of the DWTS leaderboard.

A few weeks ago it looked like Romeo had the breakthrough he was looking for. After weeks of slow but steady improvement he pulled off a waltz that wowed the judges, floored the audience and got him and partner Chelsie Hightower the first 10 of the Dancing with the Stars Season 12. He shot to the top of the leaderboard and looked like he was poised to make his move and challenge the other top dancers.  Then last week the wheels just came off.  Romeo went from first to worst with a samba that impressed very few. If Romeo is going to prove that he belongs among the best dancers on the show he will have to shine with both his dances tonight. It will be a tall order as he will be doing the tango and the salsa. He has had trouble with the fast dances like the salsa and the tango has proved to be a killer for DWTS contestants this year. Romeo better bring his best or he might be packing up and heading home.

Tune in tonight at 8PM on ABC to see if Chelsea Kane continues to rule the leaderboard and if Romeo can pull it together and make magic happen once again.

  1. I thought AAron Rodgers was the superbowl m.v.p.

  2. I truly believe that the judges themselves…must dance themselves in front of the public..I like to think those who can do..do.those who can’t judge.

  4. Try muting the sound when Alley dances, and you will see how badly she actually dances. The judging is ridiculous. She should have been eliminated at the very begining. It is so obvious that there is favoritism by the judges. The show has become as boring as Brooke actually is.
