kentucky derby 2011 oddsA complete listing of the 2011 Kentucky Derby odds, underdogs and winner predictions.

The 2011 Kentucky Derby has been like a M.A.S.H unit for the horses. Yesterday another favorite, Unlce Mo, dropped out of the field due to a mysterious stomach ailment.  Uncle Mo will join The Factor and Toby’s Corner on the sidelines in a year that has seen a lot of favorites pulling out of the field. Who will win at Churchill Downs today? (May 7, 2011)

As you might assume this has thrown the Kentucky Derby 2011 odds into a wobble. Barring any future withdraws, Dialed In will enter the race as the favorite at 9-2 odds. Closely behind is Nehro at 7-1 and many odds makers feel like Nehro is real threat to win the race. Add in Twice the Appeal at 7-1, Pants on Fire at 9-1 and Midnight Interlude at 10-1 and it rounds out the Kentucky Derby favorites.  Another horse a lot of people are talking about is Archarcharch at 13-1.

Of the 19 horses left in the field there are four long shots (underdogs) that are more than 30-1 underdogs. Brilliant Speed and Santiva both sit at 30-1, Decisive Moment is at 42-1 and Comma to the Top brings up the rear at 43-1.

As with any sporting event the odds of the Kentucky Derby can and will change right up until the start of the race. The race starts at 6:24PM EST on Saturday so stay tuned for the latest odds and developments on the race.
