Morning Robot: Jackie Cooper, Cheryl Cole, Jesse James
Happy Cinco de Mayo! On this festive May 5, let’s take a look at what news is making headlines. Simon Cowell has finally set the record straight by verifying that Cheryl Cole will indeed be acting as a judge on the American X Factor. In this edition we also discuss Jesse James, who has opened up with his relationship with Kat von D (who he left Sandra Bullock for). Finally, in sadder news, famed actor Jackie Cooper has died at the age of 88.
Simon Cowell’s latest announcement about Cheryl Cole has caused many to wonder whether or not the singer will continue on the British X-Factor. Still, the news has also caused many to be excited. “I’m thrilled for Cheryl. She is massively excited about this show, and has been fantastic to work with,” Cowell stated. “She is also a complete brat. Most importantly, this girl can spot talent.”
Sandra Bullock may be fuming over the latest statement made by Jesse James, who spoke with Howard Stern recently about his relations with Kat von D. When asked about which woman was better in the bed, James indicated that Kat is superior, sexually. “She’s a vixen, man…The way she gets in my head. It’s a mental thing…connected on a whole different level.” Wow, Jesse James certainly doesn’t care about hurting his ex! You would think Jesse James could be a bit more sensitive…
Finally, the news has broken that Jackie Cooper has passed away, at the age of 88. Cooper was a highly respected actor in Hollywood, having begun his career as a child actor. According to Jackie Cooper’s attorney, Roger Licht, “He just kinda died of old age…He wore out.” Jackie Cooper passed away on May 3, 2011.
