space shuttle endeavourNASA has confirmed that the space shuttle Endeavour launch will happen no earlier than May 8, 2011.

NASA TV will not be airing the live Space Shuttle Endeavour launch today because it has been postponed yet again, as confirmed by NASA. Friday, President Obama and Gabrielle Giffords were in attendance for Endeavour’s final launch at Kennedy Space Center only to find out that the mission had been scrubbed. After news of the cancellation, we were told that today (May 2, 2011) the Space Shuttle Endeavour launch would happen. Well, now NASA is saying that Endeavour will launch no earlier than May 8, 2011; what a bummer!

While NASA repairs the heater malfunction, we will all have to wait until for the final liftoff of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. You know, people are probably upset that the space shuttle launch has been pushed back but I’d rather the astronauts be safe. I am sure there that NASA would not have postponed the launch twice if they didn’t deem it necessary.

Keep an eye out for the rescheduled launch date for the Space Shuttle Endeavour. As we learn of the exact liftoff time and date, I will surely keep you all updated.
