greys anatomy previewA preview of tonight’s brand new episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Finally, a new episode.  It seems like it’s been too long between new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy.  I guess that is what typically happens this time of year, and right before sweeps month.  We last saw Callie (Sara Ramirez) being saved from her car accident with Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), and her baby being born prematurely.  All were fine, until…..

Tonight’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “It’s A Long Way Back,” it will be just that for Callie.  You’ll see everyone at Seattle Grace Hospital pull together to try and help Callie and her baby, Sofia.  They are looking for recovery from both patients so that mother and child will finally be able to meet.  But don’t think it will be that simple.  Things will get complicated and of course emotional.

In other storylines, the sudden death of a clinical trial patient has Derek Sheppard, a.k.a. McDreamy (we don’t hear that name anymore), (Patrick Dempsey) proceeding with caution.  Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) has serious concerns about the Chief’s wife Adele (Loretta Devine), which causes Meredith to make a risky move.  Alex Kirev (Justin Chambers) treats a very cranky old lady who has cancer.  While he treating her, he gets an idea of what he thinks will allow him to win the Chief Resident spot.

Tune in tonight to ABC at 9pm ET.  This episode of Grey’s Anatomy will be the foundation of what’s to come for the season finale, as well as what’s to come in the next few weeks for the series and some of the major storylines occurring right now. Just how much do you love Arizona and Callie?  Well, if you do or you don’t, you are going to get your fill of them in the next few weeks.
