Private Practice Preview – Return of the Baby Snatcher

private practiceTonight (April 28, 2011) a new episode of Private Practice will air on ABC.

There hasn’t been a new Private Practice since March 31st.  Only a few more episodes before the season finale, and we are left with reruns during the summer.  Oh well. Tonight’s episode brings back a villain.  Katie (Amanda Foreman), you remember Katie.  She is the psychopath that cut open Violet’s (Amy Brenneman) stomach, stole her baby, and left her for dead.  Well, she’s back.

Katie threatens to take legal action against Violet for “breach of confidentiality.”  Really?  Wow, that is ballsy.  Tonight’s new episode of Private Practice will bring Violet face to face with her attacker once more.  It took Violet so long to get over this and to move on with her life.  Will this bring her right back to where she was?

Seems as though there is more to it than just bringing back horrible memories for Violet.  She will have to defend her actions to more people than just her attacker, Katie.

Elsewhere, Cooper (Paul Adelstein) is feeling a bit wary about Charlotte (Kadee Strickland) and her ex-husband Billy.  Cooper thinks she has been harboring some feelings for her ex, but soon finds out that it is really Billy that has been hiding something of his own.

I’m glad that the show is not focused on Addison (Kate Walsh) and her miserable life.  Sorry, but I have to say it.  I know Private Practice is written around her character.  But, I think the writers have given all of the other characters so much more than what they give Addison.  They keep her whining about her love life, how she wants a child, blah, blah, blah.  Same old stuff with her.  The writer’s need to juice things up for her in a whole different way.

Tune in tonight at 10pm ET on ABC for a brand new episode of Private Practice.
