Desperate Housewives Recap – Eva Longoria Sneaks Around

desperate housewivesA quick recap of last night’s (April 24, 2011) brand new episode of Desperate Housewives.

Another light and fluffy episode was aired last night on Desperate Housewives.  Who is with me on the wanting the old days back when things were hot and juicy on this show?  They need characters like Edie and Carl back to liven things up.

Last night on Desperate Housewives we saw Susan (Teri Hatcher) having sexy dreams about Paul Young (Mark Moses).  Poor Mike, we never see him anymore and when we do, it’s of non-importance.  Remember when the hot thing was Mike Delfino?  How the single neighborhood woman used to fight over him?  The sexual tension between him and Susan?  Ugh. We are a far cry from that, that’s for sure. Now Susan is having sex dreams about Paul Young. Gross.

Last night’s Desperate Housewives also brought us Gaby (Eva Longoria) sneaking around to still continue her friendship with Bree (Marcia Cross).  We’ve seen these two interact one on one in the past, but to have Gaby go to the lengths that she did to be friends with Bree against her husband’s wishes is ridiculous.  Poor Carlos (Ricardo Chavira).  First he learns that someone was at the hands of his mother’s death.  Then he finds out his beloved wife knew about it the whole time.  Then he finds out it was a family friend who was hiding the truth.  And Gaby still feels the dire need to sneak around?  Maybe it’s just the devious side to Gaby. Anyway, I feel the writes are really searching for good storylines and are missing the mark completely.

Oh yeah, and Lynette (Felicity Huffman) is feeling like second fiddle to Tom’s (Doug Savant) new head honcho executive job.  Again, pathetic storyline here as well.

Desperate Housewives, I’m afraid you’ve lost your touch.  I foresee the series ending soon.
