Odds Favor Ladies To Win 2010 Dancing With The Stars Season 11
Ladies of Dancing With The Stars Season 11 are favored to win.
As Dancing With The Stars Season 11 gets ready to kick off the ladies of the cast find themselves as heavy favorites to win it all. By a nearly 2 to 1 ratio the odds makers have stated a women will win this season of the show. While most of the guys are long shots, there are a few guys in the mix that could play spoiler.
At the outset it seems this season of Dancing With The Stars is all about the ladies. While the odd makers show most of the men as long shots, there are a few different women who have great odds and a very legit chance at winning the show. Leading in the odds is Jennifer Grey. While I personally think Brandy might have a slightly better chance, Jennifer has proven in her movies that she has some serious dance skills. The question on her is whether or not she can pull it off live in front of an audience. Dancing on screen where you can do multiple takes is one thing, dancing in front of an audience where you have one shot at it is another all together. Still, her combination of dancing ability plus her legion of female fans who loved her in Dirty Dancing are sure to carry her deep into the competition and give her a shot at the title.
Brandy is a very close second in the odds of winning Dancing With The Stars. This is no surprise to me. She is a professional singer and has been in the entertainment business since she was a kid. She has done a lot of dancing in videos and live shows so she is used to performing under pressure in front of a live audience. A little further back in the pack, but still well within striking distance, is The Hills star Audrina Patridge. She is young, very attractive and very fit. Chances are she will pick up the moves easily and she is sure to wear some very sexy outfits that show off her amazing body. She has a core fan base among young female viewers many of whom watch Dancing With The Stars so she could make some noise in this competition.
While this season’s favorites to win are mostly women, there are a couple of guys who could play spoiler. My personal pick to fill this role is Rick Fox. Odds makers have him rated as the guy with the best chance of winning and he has fans from both the sports world (he is a former NBA star who won three consecutive championships with the Lakers) and the entertainment world (he is married to Vanessa Williams and has acted in a few different TV shows and movies). Athletes often do well because they are physically gifted and able to pick up the dance moves quickly then perform them well under pressure.
Dancing With The Stars Season 11 may be all about the ladies and chances are a women will end up winning it all, but don’t sleep on Fox. He knows how to win big competitions and just might play the spoiler role.
