Dancing with the Stars Spoilers: April 18, 2011 DWTS Preview
Dancing with the Stars has an All-American theme tonight! This means that all of the music will have all-American roots, but it won’ be affecting the styles of the dances. How will the remaining contestants dress & perform in order to celebrate Patriot’s Day?
For starters, there will be three duos attempting the elegant foxtrot, tonight. Kirstie Alley and Maks will be attempting it, as well as Kendra and Louis van Amstel. It’s no secret that Kendra is a tom boy, and that grace isn’t something she’s too invested in, so it should be interesting to see how she does! The foxtrot is clearly all the rage on tonight’s DWTS, as Romeo and Chelsie Hightower are having a go at it, too! Will Romeo have followed through on the advice about improving his posture, or will his slump land him in the dump?
Cheryl Burke and Chris Jericho will be dancing at a slow pace on Dancing with the Stars tonight during their Viennese Waltz, which will hopefully be easy on Cheryl, as she strained her thigh last week. Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas will pick up the pace with their samba (a dance that Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff are also primed to do). A similar dance to the samba is the rumba, which is a sexy Latin dance that will be attempted by Hines Ward and Kym Johnson (I don’t doubt that these two will do well, though!)
Finally, Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin will be performing the quick step, which is a variation of the (you guessed it) foxtrot. Which couples will fail, and which ones will sail through this episode? Tune in to a brand new episode of Dancing with the Stars on ABC at 8PM tonight to find out!
