Coachella 2011 Lineup

coachella 2011Coachella Music Festival 2011 is underway and tons of celebrities are reportedly scheduled to be in attendance.

The annual Coachella Music Festival 2011 gets underway today and it is sure to be three days of music, fun and craziness. While Coachella is mostly all about the music it recently has become a place to watch the stars as well. Expected to attend this year’s festival are new couple Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson, Kate Bosworth, Zac Efron, Glee goddess Lea Michele, Lindsay Lohan and Kirsten Dunst just to name a few.

While the stars will be out in force, Coachella 2011 weekend is all about the music with dozens of bands playing. Here are some of the must see acts for the weekend. On Friday: The Killers front man Brandon Flowers does a solo show, Cee Lo Green, Flogging Molly, Interpol, Kings of Leon, Lauryn Hill, Robyn,  The Chemical Brothers, The Black Keys and Cold War Kids are among the many that hit the stages.

On Saturday the list is just as big and impressive. Bright Eyes, Arcade Fire, Big Audio Dynamite, Erykah Badu, Mumford & Sons, Scissor Sisters, and The New Pornographers are among the big names to hit the stage.

While Sunday is the last day of the festival it has a powerhouse of a lineup that is not to be missed. Duran Duran, Eliza Doolittle, Jimmy Eat World, Nas with Damian Marley, Neon Trees, PJ Harvey, She Wants Revenge, The Strokes and Wiz Khalifa all hit the stage. The entire event will be put to rest Sunday night by Kanye West.

It should be another great year of music, camping, partying and all around good times at Coachella 2011.
